英语倍数的表达

英语倍数可以通过以下几种方式来表达。
1) 主语 + 谓语 + 倍数(或分数) + as + adj. + as
This tree is four times as tall as that one. 这棵树是那棵树的四倍高。

2) 主语 + 谓语 + 倍数（或分数）+ the size (amount, length…) of …
The new building is three times the size of the old one. 新楼是旧楼的三倍大。

3) 主语 + 谓语 + 倍数 (分数) + 形容词(副词)比较级 + than …
The Yangtze River is almost twice longer than the Pearl River. 长江差不多比珠江长两倍。

4) “by + 倍数（分数）”
The population of the city has increased by 5% last year. 去年这座城市的人口增加了5%。
