there be 句型

there be 句型为: there be + 名词。用来表示“有”的意思。Be 后面的名词通常认为是语法上的主语。当这个主语是复数时，动词be 也相应使用复数形式。
1 there be 句型的各种时态如下：
a) 一般现在时态
There is only one file in this folder. 这个文件夹只有一个文件。
There is not much difference between these two words. 这两个词没有多大差别。
There isn't enough room for all the furniture. 没有足够的地方放置全部家具。(这里 isn't = is not)
There are a few solders in the car. 车里有几个士兵。
There are not enough doctors in this neighbourhood. 这一带没有足够的医生。
There aren't enough computers for the whole grade of students. 计算机不够整个年级学生用。 (这里 aren't = are not)
b) 一般过去时态
A few years ago there was a tree in front of this building. 几年前这间屋子前面有一棵树。
There was not a single person in the house. 屋子里一个人都没有。
There wasn't enough evidence to prove him guilty. 没有充分的证据证明他有罪。（这里 wasn't = was not）
There were many bank failures during the depression. 经济萧条时期许多银行破产。
There were not enough lifeboats for everybody at that time 当时救生船不够多，不能每人都上。
As usual, there weren't many people at the meeting. 像往常一样, 来开会的人不多。（这里weren't = were not）
b) 将来时态
There will be more tall building. 将会有更多的高楼。
There will not be any examination next week. 下星期没有考试。
There won't be too many people in the park. 公园里人不会多。 (这里 won't = will not)
c) 现在完成时态
There have been many changes in recent years. 最近几年有了许多变化。
There has been a modest decrease in house prices this year. 房价今年略有下降。(注：这里主语a modest decrease 为单数，所以have使用第三人称单数形式 has。)
Although he sent out quite a few applications, but there haven't been any replies. 虽然他寄出了好几封简历，但还没有收到回复。(这里 haven't = have not)
There hasn't been any period in the history during which the world was really at peace. 在历史上从来没有一段时期世界是真正处于和平状态。(这里 hasn't = has not)
d) 过去完成时态
I was sure that there had been no trouble with that shipment. 我确定那批货的装运没出任何麻烦。
There had not been a divorce since he lived there. 自从他搬到这里后，还没发生过离婚事件。
注： there be与have的比较
have 用于表示主语（某人或某物）拥有某事物，而 there be 表示的是在某时或某地“存在”某事物。比如：Peter has a car. （彼得有一辆汽车。）这句话car 为Peter所拥有。而 There are some milk in the fridge. (冰箱中有一些牛奶。) 说明冰箱中“存在”牛奶。
2. there be + no 句型
除了在there be 后加not 表示否定之外，另一种常用的there be 否定句式为 there be + no 句型，同样表示“没有”的意思。
There is no solution to this problem. 没有什么办法可以解决这个问题。
There are no seats left on the flight. 班机上没有剩余的座位了。
There will be no difficulty in the world that they cannot overcome.他们将能克服世上的任何困难。（这里是一般将来时态。）
There have been no changes. 一直没有发生改变。（这里是现在完成时态）
3 there be的一般疑问句句式
Is there another mail in the afternoon? 下午还另有一个邮件吗?
Are there any special requirements? 有什么特别的要求吗？
Were there any sharks? 有沙鱼吗？
Will there be a guide on the tour? 旅游中有导游吗？
Have there been any changes in the competition rules? 比赛规则有什么变化没有？

4 there be 的特殊疑问句句式
How many students are there in your class? 你们班有多少学生?
5 be 之前可以有情态动词
There must be no delay. 不得延误。
There may be large changes around here. 这里可能会有大改变。
There should be a great debate of this kind. 应当有这么一次大辩论。
There shouldn't be any problem. 不应该有什么问题呀。
There ought to be more buses during the rush hour. 高峰期间应该多开几趟公共汽车。
转变为问句时的句式如下：
Can there be more than three? 可否超过三个？
